Hannington Country Fair
Hannington Country Fair is a day of fun, laughter, entertainments, sites and sounds. A chance to enjoy the countryside and the village. There are familiar shows and games as well as traditional and country pursuits. A real opportunity for everyone to enjoy some English country hospitality.
Our record for weather is fantastic - sunshine in all but one of the last dozen fairs. However even in a waterlogged 2007 neary two thousand people came to see the show. As one visitor in shorts and wellies said "we wouldn't miss this, it's what it's all about, who cares about the weather...."
Despite its beauty and unique qualities Hannington gets very little help to keep it looking good. That's where the fair is special too. Every penny of profit is used to keep the village for everyone to enjoy.
